Echinacea purpurea - Purple Coneflower

Native garden staple. This long-lasting cone flower with its purple - pink ray attracted a whole community of pollinators. Goldfinches will devour the seeds in early fall. Very drought resistant, Echinacea does well in average to dry, well-drained soils. Excellent cut flower. Holds many medical properties.
