New England aster is a native perennial occurs in moist prairies, meadows, forest edges, low valleys and stream banks. Growing 3-6 feet tall with purple daisy like asters (1.5”diameter) with yellow centers from late summer to early fall. Pinching back stems before midsummer to promote bushiness. A favorite for many butterflies, bees and other pollinators. Monarchs stock up for their fall migration to Mexico.  4" pots
